consulting
Being a therapist is one of the greatest honors of my life, which is how I know it can be an incredibly challenging, isolating position at times. That's what makes consultation so important.
Beyond the help I give to clients, I love supporting graduate students and other clinicians with case conceptualization, treatment planning, neurodivergent-informed care, and maintaining personal wellness in a caretaking profession. I have been leading individual and group supervision virtually at The Integrative Therapy Institute of New Jersey for nearly 6 years. You can see some testimonials to that experience below.
I also collaborate with nutritionists, psychiatrists, primary care physicians. dentists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support more holistic and effective client care. Through interdisciplinary consultation and education, I help providers understand the mental health, behavioral, and neurodivergent factors that may impact treatment and client outcomes, particularly sensory preferences, communication needs, and other barriers to care. My goal is to help healthcare professionals adapt their approach in ways that feel more accessible, affirming, and effective for their patients.
The people I consult come prepared with cases to discuss and countertransference to process, and leave feeling grounded with a clear sense of direction. If I don’t know the answer to one of your burning questions, I will do whatever I can to find it, or I will connect you to someone better equipped to help.
Longevity as a healthcare professional is largely based on how supported you are. My goal is to help you improve your clients' or patients' lives and forge your path in this field without burning out or sacrificing your own health.
